A group of people carrying Turkish Flag attacked on the meeting organised by Democratic Society Party (DTP) in Ardahan Province on 28 November. A police officer and six people were wounded in the incident (ntvmsnbc.com, 28 November).
(12/002) Interference to meeting in Ankara Province…
Police interfered to the “we will not pay the cost of the crisis” meeting with batons and pepper gas in Ankara Province on 29 November. Six police officers and 20 demonstrators were wounded in the incident (ntvmsnbc.com, 29 November).
(12/003) Coercion in prison…
Zeynel Firik and Erol Engin, two prisoners in Edirne F Type Prison alleged that the administration did not permit them to receive the Worker-Peasant Magazine and confiscated a letter which was sent to Engin on 20 November (Istanbul.indymedia.org, 29 November).

Gendarmerie soldiers attempted to choke Burak Demirci, a prisoner Izmir Kiriklar F Type Prison No. 1, with a rope on the grounds that he resisted to be medically treated with handcuffs on 28 November (yeniozgurpolitika.com, 1 December).

Istanbul Heavy Penal Court No. 9 sentenced the Azadiya Welat Newspaper with hold of publication for one month on charges of “making propaganda of an illegal organisation” under Article 7/2 of Fighting with Terrorism Law in connection with the issue of the newspaper published on 27 November (atilim.org, 28 November).

On 28 November Istanbul Bagcilar Kocayusuf Primary School’s student S.D. (16) claimed that he was beaten by the Turkish Teacher of the same school (Milliyet, 29 November).

On 29 November unidentified person(s) threw petrol bomb to DTP’s Kumluca District –in Antalya Province- Branch building (Gündem, 29 November).

(12/008) Detentions and arrests…
Twelve people were detained in Diyarbakir Province on the grounds that they attended to various demonstrations on 30 November (ANF, 30 November).
Four out of eight people who had been detained on the grounds that they attended to the protest on 21 October were arrested on charges of “being a member of an illegal organisation” in Idil District of Sirnak Province on 29 November (ANF, 29 November).
