(07/093) Operations and clashes in South-east…
Five police officers were wounded in the explosion of a sound bomb that was thrown to the Directorate of the Motorised Teams in Diyarbakır Province on 26 July 2011. Seven people were detained in the operations launched following the attack (ANF, 26 July).
A civilian was wounded with the explosion of a land mine in Şemdinli District of Hakkâri Province on 26 July 2011 (Radikal, 26 July).

Three members of the League of Metal Workers were detained and beaten as they distributing the communiqué that calls workers to organise in trade unions in Ankara Province on 25 July 2011. They were also beaten in the Batıkent Police Station (kizilbayrak.net, 26 July).

Material damage took place after the attack on the Justice and Development Party’s (AKPJustice and Development Party ) District Office in Ceylanpınar District of Şanlıurfa Province on 26 July 2011 (Milliyet, 26 July).
(07/096) Person detained in connection with the incidents in Hopa …
Mete Cihan one of the three people who had been detained on 25 July 2011 in connection with the Hopa Incidents in which the PM Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was protested before his election meeting and in which Metin Lokumcu was killed with the gas the police used in Hopa District of Artvin Province on 31 May 2011, was arrested on 26 July 2011 (Cumhuriyet, 26 July).
(07/097) Intervention to the protest in Ankara Province…
Police teams interfered to the hunger strike of the Solidarity Association of the Prisoners’ Families (Tutuklu Hükümlü Aileleri Yardımlaşma Derneği (TAYAD)) as a part of the campaign with the demand from the Government to declare the place where Ali Yıldız was buried and detained 7 people in Ankara Province on 26 July 2011. Ali Yıldız had been killed in a clash in 1997 (halkinsesi.tv, 26 July).
(07/098) Racist attack in Istanbul Province…
Ten out of the 22 members of the Peace and Democracy Party (BDPPeace and Democracy Party ) who had been detained in connection with the attacks of the racist group on the members and the Zeytinburnu District Branch office of the BDP since the clash in Silvan District of Diyarbakır Province on 14 July 2011 were arrested on 26 July 2011. None of the 87 detainees from the racist group was arrested and all of them were released (Hürriyet, 27 July).
