The juveniles that were known by the public as the “stone throwers” in Pozantı (Adana) Prison for Juveniles as pre-trial detainees were placed in the dormitories of ordinary prisoners against their will and they were subjected to sexual harassment and rape reported on 25 February 2012 (DİHA, 24 February).

Kamuran Parlak, Mesut Bildik, Faruk Aksaç, Mesut Eren, Ekrem Didim and Naif Abi who had been transferred from Van F Type Closed Prison to Amasya E Type Closed Prison after the earthquake in Van Province were reportedly beaten by the guardians in their dormitory on 26 February 2012 (ANF, 26 February).
