(11/034) Forced disappearance in detention claim in İstanbul Province…
Human Rights Association (İHD) İstanbul Branch made a statement on 7 November 2010 and claimed that Necat Şahbudak (30) was detained by three civil police officer with radio in their hands in Bağcılar District of Istanbul Province on 4 November 2010’da and no one has any knowledge of his whereabouts. His eyes were tied before he was put into a car. Necat Şahbudak called his uncle at 1.45 pm that day and he told him that he was taken away and asked him to follow him and inform his lawyer also cliamed.
Province security Directorate did not admit that Necat Şahbudak was detained.
Necat Şahbudak appeared on 8 November 2010 and claimed that he was abducted to a forest in Bilecik Province and the abductors tortured and threatened him with dead to be an agent. After a while he found a way to run away (ANF, 9 November).
(11/035) Ongoing KCK/TMKCK Par lament Turkey Main Case…
Diyarbakır Heavy Penal Court No. 6 went on hearing the case against 152 defendants -104 of them are pre-trial detainees- who had been detained in the Koma Ciwaken Kurdistan-Kurdistan Communities League /Assembly of Turkey (KCK/TM), the KCKUnion of Communities in Kurdistan is the intend to organize the Kurdish people as an umbrella organization that includes Kurdistan Workers Party (PKKKurdish Workers' Party ), operations on 14 April, 11 and 17 June and 25 December 2009 on charges of “constituting an illegal structure and acting in the context of it” on 25 October 2010.
In the thirteenth session of the first hearing, the lawyers asked the court to send their objection against the adjudication of the court’s which bans the making of legal argument to Diyarbakır Heavy Penal Court No. 4 to be decided the court adjudicated to send the objection and adjourned the hearing to 11 November 2010 (Zaman, 4 November).

Şirinyer (İzmir) Martial Court went on hearing the case against İnan Suver, a conscientious objector to military service who had declared his objection in 2001 and had been detained in the raid on his house Bayrampaşa District of İstanbul Province on 6 August 2010 on charges of “being a deserter” on 8 November 2010. The court adjudicated to transfer to hospital and prolonged the pre-trial detention process and adjourned the hearing to 6 December 2010 (atilim.org, 8 November).

Nevin Berktaş who had been sentenced to 10 months of imprisonment in connection with her memoirs in prison Cells: Tough Spaces that the Faith Sheltered (İnancın Sınandığı Zor Mekânlar: Hücreler) which was published in 2000 on charges of “making propaganda of an illegal organisation” under Article 7/2 of Fighting with Terrorism Law was arrested on 3 November 2010 (atilim.org, 8 November).
