(07/001) Operations and clashes in South-east…
Two militants were killed in the clash between Turkish Armed Forces and Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKKKurdish Workers' Party ) armed wing People’s Defence Forces (HPGPeople's Defence Forces (armed wing of the PKK) ) in the rural part of Gözlüçayır Village Tunceli Province on 30 June 2011 (Zaman, 30 June).
A soldier was killed in the explosion of a mine in the Haksel Mountain Region in Çukurca District of Hakkâri Province on 30 June 2011 (ntvmsnbc.com, 30 June).
Three police officers were wounded with the explosion of a sound bomb targeted them in Şırnak Province on 30 June 2011 (ANF, 1 July).

Ahmet Gürdal’s (58), one of the executives of Yüksekova District Branch of closed Democratic Society Party (DTP) who is a pre-trial detainee in Van F Type Closed Prison, left kidney became dysfunctional due to the lack of medical treatment in the prison reported on 30 June 2011 (yeniozgurpolitika.com, 30 June).
(07/003) Hindered commemoration ceremony…
Sivas Governorate banned the commemoration ceremony in front of the Madımak Hotel on 2 July 2011 in Sivas Province with its statement on 30 June 2011. On 2 July 1993, 35 people –mostly members of Alevi sect and secular intellectuals- were killed in the hotel which had been set on fire by the Islamists (Radikal, 30 June).
(07/004) Interventions to the protests against the verdict of YSK against Hatip Dicle…
Four people were detained in the intervention against the protest against the verdict of the High Election Commission (YSK) in Adana Province on 30 June 2011 (ANF, 30 June).
The High Election Commission (YSK) had unanimously disapproved the deputyship of Hatip Dicle who had been elected in the general election from Diyarbakır Province on 12 June 2011 on bases of the Article 79 of the Constitution on 21 June 2011. He had been sentenced to 20 months of imprisonment on charges of “making propaganda of an illegal organisation” under Article 7/2 of Fighting with Terrorism Law and his sentenced was approved by the Supreme Court of Appeals just few days before the election. The Article 79 of the Constitution defines the criteria to be deputy candidate and according to the article persons who were sentenced to more a year of imprisonment from crimes related with terrorism could not be candidates.

Four people were wounded in the intervention of law-enforcement officers to the protest against the demolition of slums with pressured water and gas bombs in Dikmen Valley of Çankaya District of Ankara Province on 30 June 2011 (sendika.org, 30 June).
